The thyme (Thymus Vulgaris oil) is an aromatic perennial plant that belongs to the
Lamiaceae family, particularly present on the Italian territory. The mainly spread species is
the Thymus Vulgaris, well known for its beneficial properties. The thyme essential oil is
extracted from its flowered extremities, appreciated for its antiseptic, antibacterial,
antifungal, deodorant, antioxidant and expectorant properties.
This preparation also contains eucalyptus (Eucalyptus), an evergreen arboreal plant from
Oceania that belongs to Mirtaceae family, from which leaves its essential oil is extracted,
particularly rich in eucalyptol and other active principles that have a balsamic and
fluidifying action.
The presence of lecithin improves the re-epithelising, refreshing, deodorant and lenitive
action of this preparation, making it particularly indicated for the sensitive skin of children
and elderly people.
