The tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia oil) is an essential oil of Australian origin that is extracted
from the leaves of the Melaleuca, a plant of the Mirtaceae family. Known for its several
properties, it is used in cases of fungus, mycosis and for local anti-rheumatic massages. Thanks
to its soothing and lenitive action, the tea tree also represents a valid help in cases of erythema
or diaper irritations, itches, skin inflammations, dermatitis, light burns and to alleviate the
insect stings. For its antiseptic and antifungal properties, the tea tree is able to neutralize the
bacteria that cause bad smells and it is therefore a basic ingredients for many cosmetic product
for the personal care.
This cream also contains the achillea (Achillea Millefolium), well known for its healing and
hemostatic properties and it is also efficient in cases of skin irritations and insect stings. The
presence of lecithin improves the lenitive and re-epithelising action of this preparation, making
it particularly indicated for the sensitive skin of children and elderly people.
This cream must not be applied on injured skin. For external use only.
